You are not alone

You are not alone

You are not alone. Did you know that 1 in 3 women, like you, suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction? Women spend billions of dollars every year buying pads, liners and leak-proof underwear because big companies want to perpetuate the myth that leaking urine is just part of being a woman. They make money by keeping us from treating the underlying problem, and instead, just dealing with the symptoms.

Women make jokes about peeing when they laugh, cough or sneeze.  Social media is full of examples mocking and normalizing leaking as just part of being a woman.

  • Women are made to think that “peezing”...peeing when you sneeze is something they should accept.
  • Women are made to think that jumping while playing with their children might cause them to have an “oops moment”
  • Women are made to think that exercising with leaking is normal. (Hint: It’s NOT!)

The reality is even leaking a small amount of urine uncontrollably means you are suffering from incontinence.  At no time in a person’s life is leaking any amount of urine considered normal. Common, yes, normal no!  We can do better, we must do better.

Here’s a final thought…if your child was continuing to pee their pants, would you just accept it?
